Welcome to TITE Library
The Institute has a well stocked and well furnished library having more than 3000 books including text books on Teacher Education, Educational Technology, Education Psychology, Educational Administration and Management, Health Education, Computer Education, Methods of Teaching various subjects etc including reference books. The College has also subscribed to 10 nos. of professional educational journals and two nos. of encyclopaedia.
The brief description of library is as under:-
About Library
The Tecnia Institute of Teacher Education Library is located on 3rd Floor of the Institute and is the Learning Resource Centre and Service Division of TITE. Circulation Section, Reference Section, Reading Section and Reprographic Section are integral parts of TITE Library. Staffed by experienced and professional reference specialists, its mission is to provide updated and comprehensive information and material on education in general and school education in particular. It houses books on psychology, environmental education, value education, and population education, education for special needs groups, literature and languages. Textual and supplementary reading materials relating to school curriculum, reports of various commissions, educational surveys and policy documents also find a place in the Library.
Library Rules
Members must show their Library Card on entering the Library, while borrowing books and journals and at any time if asked to do so by the Library staff.
Chewing pan and spitting, smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.
Briefcases, bags, umbrellas, Tiffin boxes and other personal belongings must be deposited at the entrance.
Newspapers and magazines must be read only in the Library on specific tables/stands and should not be taken to any other reading area.
Every member must sign the register available at the entrance.
Use of mobile phone is not permitted.
Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the Library.
No Library material can be taken out of the Library without permission.
Readers should not mark, underline, write on, tear pages from or damage the library documents.
Any one who violates the rules and regulations of the Library would be liable to lose the privileges of library membership.
Members are free to browse through the books. Books taken out of the shelves must be put on a table. Replacing the books on shelves is not encouraged as it may be misplaced. Misplaced book is a lost book.
The Librarian, with the approval of the Library Advisory Committee reserves the right to add, delete, alter or modify any of the above rules as and when required.

NPTEL provides E-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Science and humanities streams. The mission of NPTEL is to enhance the quality of Engineering education in the country by providing free online courseware.


Virtual Labs

A-VIEW is an award winning indigenously built multi-modal, multimedia e-learning platform that provides an immersive e-learning experience that is almost as good as a real classroom experience developed by Amrita e-Learning Research Lab.


Spoken Tutorial

The Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of the ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Government of India.


CEC

Annually CEC organises Video Competition and Prakriti.Prakriti is an annual film festival on environment,human rights & development.Video Competition is an annual competition meant to nurture within media centres and other educational institutes in the country.


Digital Library Inflibnet

The UGC-Infonet Digital Library Consortium was formally launched in December, 2003 by Honourable Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam, the President of India soon after providing the Internet connectivity to the universities in the year 2003 under the UGC-Infonet programme.


Quantum and Nano Computing

The Quantum-Nano Centre is a multidisciplinary centre at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra set up under MHRD National Mission on Education through ICT, with partners as IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi and IIT Madras, besides several international collaborators.


FOSSEE

FOSSEE project is part of the National Mission on Education through ICT with the thrust area being "Adaptation and deployment of open source simulation packages equivalent to proprietary software, funded by MHRD, based at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB).


MHRD (AICTE)

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in 1945 as an advisory body and later on in 1987 given the statutory status by an Act of Parliament. The AICTE grants approval for starting new technical institutions, for introduction of new courses and for variation in intake capacity in technical institutions.
